THE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT(2Jn 1:9)"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son"When someone thinks of reaching a higher goal: eternal purpose of God, think of:
1. Fulfill the call of God.2. Grow and mature spiritually.3. Be effective in conveying the message.4. Being productive and multiply.Faithfulness to God and His Word are key (in marriage, labor relations etc)
"His master replied, 'Well, good and faithful servant; You have been faithful with a few things: enter into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21)
When a Servant of God are collaborators who have great fidelity, rejoice, enjoy it. (Support-help)
There are features that are present in a faithful person:
1. Is careful to keep a promise, is responsible, reliable. Dedicated to fulfill.2. He is diligent at work. You can count on him. The work will be done.3. Not only begins well but what starts it ends well. Follow the project closely.Not one day up and one down. It's on time. Consistent. Constant. Exceeds expectations. A person who is willing to do the extra mile.
"2More LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man, and was in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and everything he did, the LORD made it to prosper in his hand. 4So Joseph found favor in his eyes, and he served him: and he made him overseer of his house and into his hand all I had. 5 And it came to pass that from the time he made him overseer of his house and all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake, and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house and in the field. 6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, and he did not care about anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and presence. "(Genesis 39:2-6)
Joseph is a biblical example of personal loyalty. He had the right connection: God be with him, he with God. Diligent and responsible man. All those who were with him were blessed, even in slavery. Everything was responsible. The comprehensive management of the house employees. "If Joseph is, Potiphar thinks of nothing." Buenos results ... loyal to God and Potiphar.
"21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22And the chief of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners care that were in the prison, all that was done there, he did. 23No needed to meet the chief jailer of anything that was under Joseph's care, because the LORD was with Joseph, and what he did, the LORD made it to prosper. Ends in jail for a false accusation. But he remains: diligent, responsible and faithful. Even in prison, Joseph's faithfulness is clear and obvious. And is rewarded. He was put in charge of the prison and prisoners. The boss has no more problems and concerns.
