The end is near!1
John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are
of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the
world.Matthew
24:4-51 "V-4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man
engañe.V-5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, 'and will
deceive many. V-6
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled,
because you need all these things, but the end is not yet. V-7
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there
shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
V-8 All these are the beginning
of sorrows. V-9
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall
be hated of all nations for my name's sake. V-10
Many will fall away and will betray one another, and shall hate one another.
V-11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many V-12 And because
iniquity shall abound, the love of many will grow cold. V-13 But he who endures
to the end shall be saved. V-14
And this gospel of the kingdom in the whole world as a testimony to all nations,
and then shall the end come. V-15
So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), V-16 then let those
who are in Judea flee to the mountains. V-17
which is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house and the
V-18 that is in the field return back to take his cloak. V-19
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
V-20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day;
V-21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the
beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall be. V-22
And unless those days were shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the
elect's sake those days shall be shortened. V-23
Then if anyone says to you, Lo, here is Christ, or 'There He is,' do not
believe. V-24
For false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders
to deceive, if possible, even the elect. V-25 As I have told you before.
V-26
So if anyone tells you, is in the desert, go not forth, behold, he is in the
secret chambers, believe it not. V-27
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so shall also
the coming of the Son of Man. V-28
For wheresoever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather. V-29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and
the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the
powers of heaven shall be shaken. V-30
Then the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory. V-31
And he shall send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his
elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. V-32
From the fig tree learn its lesson: When his branch is yet tender, and puts
forth leaves, ye know that summer is near. V-33
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, at the
doors. V-34
Verily I say unto you, this generation will not pass away until all these
things. V-35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass. V-36
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my
Father only. V-37
But as the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man.
V-38
For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, V-39 And knew not
until the flood came and took them all so shall also the coming of the
Son of Man. V-40
Then shall two be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
V-41
Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
V-42
Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. V-43
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the
thief would come, watched, and not allowed his house. V-44
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.
V-45
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord over his household, to
give them meat in due season? V-46
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
V-47 Truly I tell
you about all of your assets you will. V-48
But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming, V-49
and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
V-50 the lord of that servant in a
day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, V-51 and him
asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth. "
The
Bible says that the ministry of the Christian Church will end when we least
expect. When we are
more confident. The
end came suddenly, as when a thief surprising night (I Thessalonians 5:2 "For
yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the
night") Jesus told his disciples that day approached when he would
not be among them, who would go to the Father. His
disciples asked him to take them with him but Jesus said that wherever he went,
they could not follow him, but I explained that it was going to prepare a place
for us all. (John
14: 2-6) "V-2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you I am going there to prepare a place for you. V-3
And if I go and prepare a place, I will come again, and receive you unto myself,
that where I am, there you may be also. V-4 And whither I go, and you
know the way. V-5
Thomas said to him: Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know
the way? V-6
Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me "For where he is, we also are.
Jesus said, "I'll go,
but I will return." Two
millennia have passed since the apostles witnessed the ascension of Jesus and
even today, still has not returned. But
Peter says not impacientemos, or think that the Lord is taking. (2
Peter 3:8-14 "V-8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this, that with the Lord one
day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. V-9 The Lord is not
slack concerning his promise, as
some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any
should perish but that all should come to repentance. V-10 But the day of the
Lord will come like a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away
with a
roar and the elements will be dissolved, and the earth and the works that are
therein shall be burned up. V-11 Since all these things shall be dissolved, what
ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, V-12
waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens on
fire shall be dissolved, and the elements being on fire, will melt! V-13
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and earth
new,
in which righteousness dwells. V-14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for
such things, be diligent to be found by him without spot, and blameless in peace
") because He will return in due time. Remember, our time is not God's
timing. The Bible
says that "a thousand years is like a day before God." (2
Peter 3:8) Jesus will return soon and according to the prophecies, the end of
human history, is approaching. All current events
point to the: THE SECOND COMING. Uses three Greek words.1. Parousia
(presence, 1 Thessalonians 3:13) "that may establish your hearts blameless in
holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with
all his saints."2. Apokalypsis
(REVELATION, 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8) "V-7 And to you who are troubled rest with
us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, V-8 in
flaming fire ,
taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our
Lord Jesus Christ "and3. Epiphaneia
(appearance, 2 Thessalonians 2:8) "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of his coming."RETURN FOR
PERSONAL, VISIBLE AND GLORIOUS JESUS(Matthew
24:30) "And two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus
passed by, cried, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"(Acts
1:11) "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
This
same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come as you saw him
go into heaven ";(Acts
3:19-21) "V-19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, to come to the Lord's presence snack time, V-20 and he shall send Jesus
Christ, which I was foretold,
V-21 who need to give certain heaven must receive until the times of restitution
of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since the
world began. "(Philippians
3:20) "For our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord
Jesus Christ."
Unfortunately
many churches no longer preach sound doctrine of the second coming. It seems as if nobody
wants the return of the Lord. Hardly anyone is waiting for Jesus.
Hardly anyone shouts "yes,
come Lord Jesus!" John
the Apostle at the end of Revelation cry from the depths of his heart, yes, come
Lord Jesus! "Rev
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen so, come, Lord Jesus.
"
The
return of the Lord implies two things: the glorification of the faithful and the
trial and condemnation of the wicked. Because
it is clear that Christ will return to destroy the enemies of God and followers
of the devil, that old serpent called Satan, or Lucifer.
The
problem of the church today is that, after two thousand years, we have almost
forgotten that we live in expectation of Jesus' return, but it seems as if we
are no longer interested. We live very comfortable in our
homes. We
conform to the customs of this world, (Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this
world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove
what is that good will of God, and perfect.) We
have assimilated the dominant culture and have abandoned the life of
holiness.
Today's
message that the Church urges us to fight for SOUND DOCTRINE OF CHRIST (2Jn 1:9
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not
God: he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son).
We
should always live alerts, the slope of the return of Jesus Christ. That not
surprising arrival wasting time on our selfish interests. The
emphasis of this message is to remember that Jesus Christ will return.
We are prepared for the
sudden return of our Lord. For
the Lord will return in the blink of an eye, at the sound of the trumpet.
That
day, the eternal plan of salvation will be consummated and the dreaded "end of
the world."
Studying
the Scriptures I realize that we are living in the last days of this present
evil. The
return of Jesus Christ is coming and with its arrival, the judgment of the
nations. Woe
to those who are unaware, unprepared to receive him because his end will be
disastrous. The
Bible says that in that day, "will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth."
The
disciples asked, Sir, when will be the time of your return? Jesus answered them: when
they saw the signs. No one knows when the Lord will
return. Jesus himself
did not know. Not even the angels know the
day or the hour. Only God in His
infinite omniscience, knows the end time. Jesus
warned us that when we see the signs, have sense enough to reflect and repent of
our sins before it is too late. Do
not make the same mistake of the five foolish virgins, who were searching late
oil for their lamps. And
when the Lord, were not there to receive him and closed the door and stayed
outside. (Matthew
25:1-13) Brethren, the Lord's return is coming and the church must learn to read
"the writing on the wall" (Daniel5 :7,8,15-17) learn to interpret the prophetic
signs of the Bible :
There
will be signs in the sky, the sea, the moon and the stars we announced that the
end is near! (Luke
21:25) "And there shall be signs in the sun, moon and stars, and upon the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the
waves".
When we
talk about peace and all I have are wars, The end is near! (Revelation
6:4) "And there went out another horse that was red: and its rider was given
power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and
there was given a great sword."When
mankind reaches its limit moral and spiritual corruption, the end is
near!
When
people marveled, tricked go after witchcraft, sorcery, and divination, the end
is near!
When
the voice of antichrist is heard around the world, more strongly than that of
the church, the end is near!
When
the immorality of humanity reaches its peak and the man loses his moral and
spiritual values, abandoning their natural kinds of men and women and delivered
to homosexuality, then the end is near!
When
the abomination walks through the doors of the church and as a result, loses his
cool and authority over the people, the end is near!
When
most Christians fall away from their faith and heresy is part of the Christian
movement, careful because the end is near!
When
we see that in the nations of the world, establishing laws that do not honor or
respect to God, the end is near!
The
Apostle Paul says in Romans 8.21 "that the creation itself will be liberated
from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God"
that nature groans with deafening screams, begging to be freed from the curse
that Adam suffers from sin.
According
to the Book of Revelation, when we look around the world to earthquakes,
hurricanes like last year, volcanic explosion, sea spewing their dead, flooding,
drastic climate changes, the end is near!
The
scriptures teach us that when this happens, it's like a warning that the Lord is
at hand, and we must repent. We
must seek forgiveness from God and let Christ take control of our lives.
To protect us from the wrath to come.
Let's
make sure our name is written in the book of life.
Jesus
told His disciples that the signals are clear before the end, as when the fig
tree sprouts, we know that summer is near. Just
as when the trees lose their leaves, we know that autumn is coming. Similarly,
when we see all these things happening around us, we can be assured that the end
is near.
The
church must be prepared! We must
be on our guard, lest we run out of the kingdom of heaven. Frankly,
many churches are unaware, we are not prepared for the coming of the Lord.
We
still have much to endure the great tribulation that will come upon the earth.
The
Revelation mentions that trials will come upon mankind to torment and make up
his faith before the end.
When
we see all this, and if we are not prepared spiritually, and we have Christ in
our hearts, care. Because
the punishment of Righteous Judge is at the door. That day, many
would rather die or the earth swallow them. For
sinners, best would hang a millstone on the neck and jump into the
seabed.
Will want
the damned, who fall into the hands of the living God. That
day, people tried to flee from the presence of God but it is impossible, it will
be too late to repent and ask for forgiveness.
The
history of salvation had its beginning and will have an end. As
well as the reign of the Messiah had its beginning and will have an end.
The
Bible helps us study the prophecies pointing to the history of
salvation.The
Epistle to the Hebrews says that Jesus, our High Priest, died for our sins and
ascended to heaven to intercede for us with his blood on their hands as an
offering acceptable to God. Jesus
was crowned by God and given the title of Lord, the righteous Judge, King of
Kings and sole authority over the universe. The
Bible says that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we
must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
CONCLUSION:
In Christ, we have eternal life.
The
reign of Christ was established with his birth, death and resurrection.
The
consummation of his reign will be the day of his return. Completed under the
absolute control of the Lord. The
Son of Man will destroy the enemy of God, the Beast, the Antichrist.
We
remove all to hell and the lake of fire launch where it will be their final
destination. That
day, Jesus will judge all the evil that followed.
I
pray that today, we are prepared, alert, aware that we all already are warning
signs that the Lord's coming is closer than we think. That
when the Lord returns will not surprise us, because we are living each day as if
today was your appearance. Always on the lookout for his return.
Waiting
for the Lord not with fear but with joy, confidence and see his face and rejoice
in his presence. I
pray with all my heart to say: Yes, come Lord
Jesus!
