(John 8:1-11 ) " 1 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. 3 And the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery , and placing her in the midst , 4 they said to him , Master, this woman was caught in the act of adultery . 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women . You therefore, what do you say ? 6 Further it said tempting him , to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger . 7 So when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said, Let him who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her . 8 And again he stooped to the ground , and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone , and the woman standing in the midst . 10 Jesus straightened up and saw none but the woman , he said, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Did no one condemn you ? 11 She said, No man , Lord. And Jesus said , Neither do I condemn thee: go , and sin no more. "
INTRODUCTION :There in the church very subtle seduction . Many Christians are numb thinking more and more on their own needs and forget others. It seems that many believers have lost the purpose of his call to serve. Many times we are so immersed in our own affairs that we take the time to show others mercy that Jesus showed us sometime. We are so indifferent to the pain of others that we do not repair the suffering and the willingness of others to receive a word of comfort . How often have this same attitude towards those who commit sin through ignorance and need our help?
FOR EXAMPLE : We see in (John 7:53) , as " every man went to his house." That is, having had the Master so close and then to hear his teachings , all left without saying anything. I add : To make their own, completely disinterested , with loads in their consciences , but more willing to deal with their own stuff.So indifferent that they forgot the best: None invite Jesus ! How many of us do the same ? I hope to God it does not happen the same with us , as Jesus so close.It is generally accepted that this section ( Chapter 8) does not belong to this context in John. Most manuscripts either omitted or this context marked with asterisks to indicate doubt. At the same time , this section features old backup and there is no reason to suppose that there is a genuine translation .
MESSAGE :In (John 8:1 ) , says: " And Jesus went to the Mount of Olives ." He knew where to go. I think that would have changed their plans if they had invited some of those who heard his teachings. Jesus was a man with purpose. When a person knows its purpose has vision and this vision will guide the provision . Between Jesus and his goal was a cross . The cross was the means not the goal itself .
Mount of Olives : Meaning and Background .This mountain was situated opposite the city and separated from it by the Kidron Valley . At its peak had a shrine to the Lord ( 2 Samuel 15:32) " When David arrived at the summit of the mount , where he worshiped God , behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat torn and earth on his head " . David came to the summit to worship God .Ezekiel saw the glory of the Lord shining upon this mountain to leave Jerusalem Temple (Ezekiel 11:23) " And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city , and stood upon the mountain which is east of the city " .
Zechariah had a prophetic vision of the return of the Lord with all His saints , resting his feet on the Mount of Olives , and delivering His people ( Zechariah 14:4,5 ) " 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives , which is before Jerusalem on the east , and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, forming a great valley, and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and the other half southward. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains , for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come , and all the saints . "

(Acts 1:11-12 ) " 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee , why stand ye gazing up into heaven ? This same Jesus , which is taken up from you into heaven , shall so come as you have seen him go into heaven. 12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem , a day's journey of rest. "
In this context , Jesus claimed to be the light of the world . The pillar of fire represents the presence, protection and guidance of God. Jesus brings the presence , protection and guidance of God. The scribes and Pharisees sought to Jesus at a time when Jesus was surrounded by a crowd .Temple Here the word most often applies to the Temple in Jerusalem to worship the Lord. ( Acts 19:27 ) "And not only is there danger that this our business into disrepute , but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised , and should be destroyed the majesty of her whom venerated throughout Asia , and the whole world . " In the temple were made every sacrifice unto the Lord , the God of Israel.
The Scribes and Pharisees brought this woman commits adultery to place offerings. This seems irreverent. At adulterers as passages (Deuteronomy 22:22-24 ) " 22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband , both shall die, the man who lay with the woman , and the woman : so shalt thou put evil away of Israel. 23 If a virgin betrothed to a husband , and a man find her in the city , and lie with her, 24 then you shall bring them both to the city gate and stone them , and die , the damsel, because she cried not in the city , and the man because he humbled his neighbor 's wife ; you must purge the evil from among you. "
They were to be taken to the city gate . As for the adultery law stated the following : The adulterer with married woman was punishable by death . Jewish leaders have rejected the law by arresting the woman alone . The Act required that both people involved stoning in adultery ( Deut 22:22) ; Expresses the death of both ) . As Jesus ratified the applicable punishment for adultery was not possible to accuse him of being against the law
But to say that only those who were without sin could cast the first stone , highlighted the importance of compassion and forgiveness. One question: When you discover another in sin , are you quick to judge ? Do so is to act as if he had never sinned . It is God who must judge , not us. To us to show forgiveness and compassion.
(John 8:8 ) "And he bent down toward the ground , and wrote on the ground." Let me tell you, brothers : If you belong to Jesus , and are on your mind and in your heart to manifest the power and presence of God in your life. It's in easy to break a heart .
(John 8:9 ) " And they which heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone , and the woman standing in the middle " . When Jesus said that only those who could not sinned cast the first stone , leaders away in silence , from the oldest to the youngest . Love and truth are fused healers. Jesus came to heal all these sufferings and wounds caused by errors and the troublemakers.
