And
PERSEVERING DETERMINED IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST
(2
Thessalonians 2:15-17) "15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the
traditions which you were taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16
Now our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us and given us
everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and
stablish you in every good word and work. "
(Philippians
2:12-16) "12 Therefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with
fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you
to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14
Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become
blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse
generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the
word of life, so
that in the day of Christ I may boast that I have not run in vain, neither
labored in vain. "
INTRODUCTION:As
farmers, students and good athletes have to persevere to successfully reach your
goals, every Christian who still walks the face of the earth must persevere
visibly and the way of God and his work. (Luke
5:3) "And he entered into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him from
the land a bit, and sat down and taught from the boat to the crowd."
Many
believers have thought that perseverance is a matter of endurance, however it is
not, rather it is of faith and willingness to obey.
I
mean, who persevere and obey the Word, exercise your faith in God properly:
GOD'S WAY. No
one can say he has faith "their way", right is GOD'S WAY. In
addition, every believer must decide firmly bear fruit for
God.
Perseverance
is produced by the firmness and fidelity to the teachings of Jesus Christ in the
Bible. (2
Thessalonians 2:15) "15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions
which you were taught, whether by word, or our epistle. (1
Corinthians 15:58) "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable,
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in
vain."
All
intelligent believer understands that firmness and fidelity can be translated as
OBEDIENCE. No
believer can be called persistent if not adjust his life to the teachings of the
Sound Doctrine of Christ in the Bible. Hence,
a proper understanding of the Word of God and a heart strong determination to
live what they learn, forge a character in any son of God perseverance palpable
and abundant fruit. On
the other hand, there is a deep similarity between perseverance and bear fruit.
Because
none of the fruits we see in the trees are imaginary, they are all
real.
The
same happens in the life of a Christian who perseveres: The roots are the
teachings of the doctrine of Christ Sana in the Bible, the branches are its
firmness and fidelity, and the fruits visible participation in the work of God,
which not imaginary.
Every
believer who bears fruit progresses in life, and we must understand that
progress can not be hidden and when a city progresses. But
how can a child of God and not miss progress in life?
SOURCE
PERSEVERANCE IS OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, (2 Thessalonians
2:16, 17) "16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us and
given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17
comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
"
These
significant verses mention a list of items that we get as a result of our
relationship with Jesus and allow us to persevere:1. LoveTwo.
GraceThree. Consuelo
EternalApril. Good
HopeMay. AnimoJune. Strength of
HeartBelievers
still attending a temple not persevere, and those who withdraw from the
communion or are very irregular, say they have a serious problem in their
relationship with Jesus. They
know that God above elements provides for their children to persevere to the
end.
Each
of us should worry about teaching by example as taught by Christ through the
Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1-3) "1 Be ye followers of me, as I am of Christ.
2
Now I praise you because all you remember me, and keep the ordinances, as I
delivered. 3
But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the
head of the wife, and the head of Christ is God. "
And
as an example of Christ's teachings he received and taught at a time is this: (1
Cor 11:23-26) "23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered
unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night that He
was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said,
Take, eat: this is my body which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of
me. 25
Likewise also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my
blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26
So, every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's
death until he comes. "
(1
Corinthians 15:1-5) "1 In addition to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached
to you, which you received and on which you stand, 2 by which also, if you hold
fast that word which I preached to you saved, unless you believed in vain.
3
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received: that Christ
died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and
rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to
Cephas, then to the twelve.
"
This
Sound Doctrine of Christ began to hit from the moment it began between the
religious of the time which was the time that Jesus walked on this earth to the
extent that bother much with Jesus Christ: (Mat 15:1-11) "1
Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy
disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? They do not wash their
hands when they eat bread. 3
But he answered and said to them: Why do ye also transgress the commandment of
God by your tradition? 4
For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, He who curses
father or mother must be put to death. 5
But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift to God
anything that could help, 6 and honor not his father or his mother. Thus have ye
made the commandment of God by your tradition. 7
Ye hypocrites, well Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people honors me with
their lips, but their heart is far from me. 9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10
And he called the multitude said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that
which goeth into the mouth defiles a man, but what proceeds out of the mouth,
this defiles a man. "
(Mar
7:3) "For the Pharisees and all the Jews, holding the tradition of the elders,
if often not wash their hands, do not eat".
The
apostle Paul was a man with many very legalistic traditions and persecuted the
church of Christ, but when he had an encounter with Jesus, his life was never
the same: (Gal 1:11-17) "11 But I know ,
brothers, that the gospel preached by me is not after man; 12 For I neither
received it of man neither was I taught it, but by revelation of Jesus Christ.
13
For ye have heard of my manner of life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church
of God, and wasted it: 14 And in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my
own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me
by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the
Gentiles, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood, 17
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me, but I went
into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. "
Sound
Doctrine of Christ teaches us through the apostle Paul that we are very
attentive to the emotions because they are stimulants but are hollow soul have
no biblical support: (Col 2:6-8) "6 Therefore, the way have
received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him,
strengthened in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with
thanksgiving. 8
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
"
Another
good example of the sound doctrine of Christ is stand face to face with who is
teaching doctrines out of the Doctrine of Christ as Paul did with Peter (Gal
2:11-14) "11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him
face to face, because he stood condemned. 12
For before certain men came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when
they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing the circumcision.
13 And in their
simulation also involved
other
Jews, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy. 14
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the
gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, live like a
Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?
".
(Deuteronomy
13:1-3) "1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and
giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder that he spake unto
thee, saying, Let us go after other
gods you have not known, and let us serve them 3 you shall not listen to the
words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God is
testing you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul.
"
Without
fear of any mistake is when we search the scriptures as gives us the example in
Sound Doctrine of Christ (Acts 17:11,12) "11 These were more noble than those in
Thessalonica, for they received the word with all eagerness,
examining the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12
Therefore many of them believed, and Greek women of distinction, and not a few
men. "
Something
we have to assimilate and understand is that for everything in our daily lives
and for our good and welfare of our body, our soul and our spirit, the Word of
Jehovah God is the most important thing at least this should be so and
never
going to go well until you understand and accionemos to consult the Word of God
in our daily lives.(2
Timothy 3:16-17) "16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for
teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 so
that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
"(1
Thessalonians 3:12-13) "12 And the Lord make you increase and abound in love one
toward another, and toward all men, as we do toward you:13
so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and
Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
"
And
if you really love and obey the new covenant of the Lord God through His beloved
Son Jesus Christ, then you have to have this security, and you have to reject
every thought that comes to bring Christ and forgave sins, because the Blood of
Christ have
power: (Rom 8:37-38) "38 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. 38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, we may from
the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "
Moreover
if Christ has forgiven your sins and the devil comes to memory and bring them to
you you fall to temptation then you become as explained transgressive word: (Gal
2:18-21) "18 For if the things which I destroyed, I build again the myself a
transgressor. 19
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live for God.
20
I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me: and the
life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
gave himself for me . 21
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness could be law, then
Christ died needlessly. "
When
you and I talked about the sound doctrine of Christ and people just refuses to
listen, because they are clinging to the teachings of his pastor and discarded
Healthy Teachings of Christ, then there exists condemnation (John 3:16-18
)
"16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
might be saved through him. 18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands
condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God. "
And
believing in Jesus Christ is: understand, comprehend, to obey, because as opened
to obey whether they will walk in other doctrines where there is God or the Son,
how can anyone obey a command that does not listen, or do not understand because
no one explained? (Rom
10:11-17) "11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed. 12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord over all is
rich to all who call on him, 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved. 14 How
then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they
believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without
a preacher? 15 How will they preach
unless they are sent? As
it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim peace, who bring
good news! 16
But not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, Lord, who hath believed our
report? 17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
"
Today God is calling clearly to
our hearts. He
knows the kind of relationship we have with him, and if something is correct, he
is here to lovingly help to give us his grace, comfort us in our suffering and
give us good hope. God is
here to fill us with courage and strength batter our hearts. He
wants to make the decision today to renew our relationship with him and improve
our perseverance in his way. God
is more interested in us to persevere in his way and his work, to persevere in
it. And not err need to do things
God's way. We
need to adjust to the teachings of the Sound Doctrine of Christ in the Bible so
that the fruits of our perseverance is real and not
imaginary.
