HUMILITY AND OBEDIENCE REMOVE PRIDE AND REBELLION TO ALL GOD

HUMILITY AND OBEDIENCE REMOVE PRIDE AND REBELLION TO ALL GOD

NOTE : I recommend you have at hand a Bible to follow the readings proposed in the biblical : 1 Samuel ch. 13 and 15. This way you have a greater understanding of the subject.
In this topic we will address two aspects in the life of every believer , as are , first PRIDE AND REBELLION before Jehovah God , and the other HUMILITY and OBEDIENCE to Him

There is a real consequence that gives importance to this issue : pride and rebellion to God bring ruin humility and obedience to Him carry blessing. Also a message from God to every person you need to know : what is it that the Lord asks of you ? But to do justly , to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8 ) " Oh man, he has told you what is good , and what doth the Lord require of you but to do justice , to love mercy , and walk humbly with your God " .

Discussing the topic we will look at the facts of King Saul , we are reflected in the chapters from 1 Samuel 13 and 15 , and in the facts of Jesus Christ we read in : ( Matthew 18:1-5 ) " 1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus , saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven ? 2 And Jesus called a little child and put him in the midst of them , 3 And said , Verily I say to you, unless you turn and become like children , you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven . 5 And whoever welcomes in my name one child as this , welcomes me . "

(Matthew 23:11,12 ) " 11 He who is greatest among you shall be your servant . 12 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled , and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. "

( Philippians 2:5-11 ) " 5 Let the same mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus , 6 who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant , made in the likeness of men: 8 and being found in appearance as a man , he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him , and given him a name which is above every name , 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow , of things in heaven , and in earth , and under of the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father " .

The context of the question is: PRIDE AND REBELLION and its consequences.
In (Deuteronomy 9:7-14 ) " 7 Remember , do not forget how you provoked the wrath of the LORD your God in the wilderness: from the day you left the land of Egypt until you came to this place , ye have been rebellious against Lord . 8 At Horeb you provoked to anger the LORD , and the LORD was angry with you to destroy . 9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights without eating bread nor drink water : 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God, and in

them was written according to all the words that the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire , the day of the assembly . 11 It happened at the end of forty days and forty nights , that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant . 12 And the LORD said , Arise , go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves ; soon have departed from the way I commanded them: they have made a molten image . 13 And the Lord spake unto me , saying, I have seen this people , and behold it is a stiff-necked people . 14 Let me alone that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they . " We see the Lord our God rebellion of his people and their decline.

A nation that receives the blessing of God , soon shows his ingratitude and becomes rebellious to fulfill the covenant he made with him in his attitude change and living God Almighty, who , journeying through the wilderness protected and blessed with miracles and supernatural wonders , for a god of their own making , represented by an idol shaped metal beast , inert and incapable of manifesting not even communicate with them.

Our rebellion leads to anger the Lord God and lead us to destruction.
In ( 2 Chronicles 36:11-20 ) " 11 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he became king , and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. 12 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the LORD . 13 And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar , who had made him swear by God he stiffened his neck , and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel. 14 Moreover all the chief priests and the people , transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen , and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem. 15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling . 16 But they mocked the messengers of God , despised His words , and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy . 17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans , who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man or infirm gave them all into his hands. 18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of Jehovah , and the treasures of the house of the king and his princes , all these he brought to Babylon. 19 And they burnt the house of God , and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire , and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof . 20 Those who escaped the sword were taken captive to Babylon, and they were servants to him and his sons until the kingdom came the Persians " .

SEE THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR REBELLION TOWARD GOD .
All the people of Judah in full, the king, even the priests were stubbornly and very rebellious to the will of God. God warned them many times, about the consequences of his rebellious attitude , but they mocked and laughed at the warnings of God , until the Lord's anger burned against them and the consequences were disastrous . This makes me remind you how many times our Lord Jesus Christ has warned many times throughout my ministry and we are still very rebellion and disobedience to his Sound Doctrine of Christ.

In Jeremiah 27 and 28 we see the judgment of a teacher of rebellion against God.
God sent this message through the prophet (Jeremiah 27:1-11 ) " 1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah , king of Judah , this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD , saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD me Make thee bonds and yokes , and put them upon thy neck , 3 and send them to the king of Edom , and the king of Moab , and the king of the Ammonites , and the king of Tyre , and the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah . 4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hosts , the God of Israel : Thus shall ye say unto your masters : 5 I have made the earth , the man and the beast that are upon the face of the earth , by my great power and by my outstretched arm , and gave it to anyone I please . 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, my servant , and the beasts of the field have I given him to serve him . 7 And all nations shall serve him, his son and his son's son, until he comes also the time of his land , and reduced to servitude many nations and great kings . 8 And the nation or kingdom will not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon , I will punish that nation with the sword, famine and plague , declares the Lord, until the I end by his hand. 9 And hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners , nor to your dreamers , nor to your enchanters , nor to your sorcerers , who speak to you saying, not serve the king of Babylon . 10 For they prophesy a lie , to remove you far from your land , and for that I throw and perish . 11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him , I will leave in the land, saith the LORD, till it, and dwell therein . "

God put a yoke to his servant Jeremiah that he had to wear as a symbol of " humility and obedience." And also put a yoke to his people because of their rebellion and arrogance , to learn that it was " humility and obedience " what God wants .

The prophet Hananiah remained in the line of arrogance and rebellion to God , ignoring his word transmitted by Jeremiah ( spokesman of God).
Hananiah told the people what they wanted to hear and gave no reason to the message of Jeremiah and the consequences were immediate for disobeying the voice of Jehovah God. ( Jeremiah 28:11-17 ) " 11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord : so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within two years . And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. 12 And after the prophet Hananiah broke the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah , the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah , saying, 13 Go and tell Hananiah , saying, Thus saith the Lord broken a wooden yoke , but in its place you will iron yokes . 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts , the God of Israel : put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him and even I have given him the beasts of the field . 15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet , Hear now, Hananiah : Jehovah has not sent you , and trust you have made this people lie . 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord : Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die , because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD . 17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month . "

The success reaching people in all kinds of things , regardless of how big or small the achievement, usually stimulate self-confidence, pride, the feeling of " I deserve it " and fanaticism , stubbornness, etc. . In many cases , most of which we imagine , these feelings become facts and attitudes. The church also happens the same, the success and the success of a person, for the glory of God , just destroying it , when you customized and deifies .

This teaches us that the leader should not exist because if we keep on being servants succeed we must maintain the " humble " to prevent the pride and fanaticism control our lives , allowing the " humility and prudence to keep us in place corresponding . Also, to the person who is a believer , giving rise to the Holy Spirit to lead and guide our lives in such conditions according to the will of God.

Disobedience AND THE PRESUMPTION OF SAUL .
Please read ( 1 Samuel 13:1-14 ) Saul , as perhaps you know , was the first king of Israel. Chosen by God. A man known for his people skills , by the prophet Samuel and by God to rule Israel under the guidance and will of God .
Achieved great victories and achievements , one of the most important was to unify Israel as a nation , which was divided into tribes and not all of them good avenues. This meant that Israel was stronger and could stand the abuse and harassment of other powerful nations , among the most feared , the Philistines . Another success as king , well known to him by socially and success and glory to his people was that he got together a great army and defeated the Ammonites ( 1 Samuel 11).

A Saul was complicated things when the Philistines ( great empire with a huge army ) took up war with Israel as a result of his son Jonathan attacked and defeated the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba. We have been told how the Israelites were Saul himself , shaking them all bones to the point that many of the warriors fled and left the army and Saul .
When you do not trust God, but our pride and arrogance, trust ourselves , smaller difficulties of life can seem overwhelming and we find ourselves in situations of distress and anxiety.

As "sons of Jehovah God " that we who believe in Jesus Christ must be remembered that everything that happens to us , good and less good, does not escape the knowledge of Jesus Christ . If we trust in Jehovah God will see your help in our needs.
The character of Christ in us and how to be a person not evident only in situations of glory and abundance of life, but also with the crisis and difficulty. (1 Corinthians 2:16) " For who has known the mind of the Lord ? Who will instruct ? But we have the mind of Christ. "

In Saul , he was known only part of his character , the situations of glory and success, but also get the opportunity to show their character to the difficulty. At first , King Saul was a strong and determined , but to fear , began to show as it was, began to rely more on itself and decided to forget how God , through Samuel had told him he had to do the things and decided to make his own way.

He doubted God's message transmitted by Samuel and this happens many times with us, because God himself will transmit important messages for your life as it is doing today , but you is to obey or sit on your pride and rebellion , because the set pretexts and excuses is nothing that rebellion.

Ultimately , Saul settled in his pride , attributing his greatness and success in their own right. This led to disobedience and not accept the way in which God wanted to do things and did it his way . No thought Samuel 's delay could be a sign of trust from God . On the contrary , followed by perhaps thought his line and making it the functions corresponding to Samuel , God bless and get him out of the quagmire in which he was involved . Saul was justified in this proceeding before Samuel , with the excuse that " had not arrived at the appointed time ." Saul tried to use God and his power at their convenience and interests.

This can also happen now ; reach to be and have some for mercy and glory of God and , occasionally , instead of recognizing it and glorify God therefore we attribute to ourselves and when it is clear , to justify what disimulamos and God used to manage a personal interest covert purpose to our own convenience. In the believer's life are also times when obedience to God can be tested.

So we as the remnant and believers need to know " to wait on God." Waiting on God does not mean passivity in difficult life events . It means , " obey him and do his will " in such moments , trust your intervention to resolve such circumstances, and wait for Him to act . ( Psalms 37:5 ) " Commit to the Lord thy way trusts him and he will."
Saul did not know " wait on God " , was based on his own and criteria and end result cost him his kingdom.

A SECOND CHANCE . ( 1 Samuel 15:1-23 and 34-35 )
God sometimes , for his mercy , gives us new opportunities, but it is a reality , that opportunities are finished . Saul attacked the Amalekites and managed to defeat them, captured Agag their king and seized all his possessions.

Again Saul disobeyed God did not kill the Amalekite king and did not destroy the best of the possessions of the Amalekites . He used the pretense of sacrifice to cover their greed. But Samuel told him that obedience was more important than religious rituals . He demanded an explanation of his disobedience to God , Saul was justified making him see that what had been preserved without destroying would be destined to the sacrifices of thanksgiving to God .

Then Samuel said to him ( 1 Samuel 15:22) " More like the Lord to be obeyed , not to be offered sacrifices and burnt offerings and obey worth paying attention to offer sacrifices and fat of rams ." He added : " Because you have rejected their mandates , He now rejects you as king."

Perhaps Saul happened what happens to us many times to us, our pride and rebelliousness prevent us show humility and admit to others that our achievements and victories are of God and not our own efforts . Many times , we ask and pray to God or a new opportunity to meet new strife that we realize that on our own we can not achieve . The will of God was fulfilled anyway; Samuel killed the king of the Amalekites and Saul lost his kingdom.

There is also an effect of pride in our lives as believers pride prevents us from recognizing our sin and repentance difficult . Saul 's pride prevented him sincerely repent amendment is a real purpose and submission to God. Compadrear urged Samuel to God in worship , to which Samuel refused . And Saul reacted with pride Samuel grabbing and tearing its edge layer . Despite this , Samuel showed his humility , as a man of God, respecting accessing Saul as king .

In contrast to PRIDE and REBELLION , we HUMILITY and OBEDIENCE . The best example is given by Jesus . HUMILITY and OBEDIENCE
In ( Matthew 18:1-4 , 23:11,12 ) Jesus teaches humility.
Jesus' disciples asked him who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said the greatest in the Kingdom of God is he who is humble and becomes like this child , ie shown little innocent . The greatest among you must serve others . For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted .

In ( Philippians 2:5-11 ) , we find the expression of Christ's humility and exaltation of God departs . Therefore, God elevated him to the highest honor and gave him the greatest of all names : Jesus, so that in their name to their knees all who are in heaven and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father .
In (James 4:6-10 ) we can see that the poor receive grace . God helps us more with his kindness , as the Scripture says .

CONCLUSION :
God , as seen in the character Saul gives us great opportunities to become useful tools to your service, but the "pride" can separate the " obedience to God" as his children owe obedience, pride and rebellion leads us to do things our way and not the way God works . So how can we learn to obey God ?

We can learn to obey God in the following manner :
Submitting to Him When we do this , we are giving the government of our lives. This is the only way to not allow the " pride and rebellion " take control of our actions. We need to make a submission exercise daily ( Romans 12:1-2 ) .

Recognize the favor of God in our life and worship . When we attribute our success merits are denying that God has helped us . We took the glory to God and put us us.

We need to understand the destructive effects have sin. Although now , is very common in people, even many Christians , think that anything goes and that sin is no longer relevant in our society and that is actually a thing of the past.
We can not take lightly the issue of sin. It is necessary to confess our sins to God a genuine feeling of repentance and purpose of amendment.
Every sin that starts seeming insignificant can come to enslave us and become a great disaster for our lives , because all sin is " disobedience to God."

I challenge you tocheck ! When you obey God , you will experience His peace and power. You also get a real victory over the circumstances of life.
