Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord
The central purpose of our life is to bear fruit for the glory of God, and that everything else is secondary.(Ephesians 5:9,10) "9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth)" 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. "(Ephesians 6:17) "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."(Romans 13:4) "he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword, he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. "
A fundamental question we must ask ourselves as Christians is, what we do with our lives? What will remain of value, in our passage through this world when we're here? What is the purpose of my life as a Christian? We can respond, based on Scripture, that the central purpose of our life is to bear fruit for the glory of God, and that everything else is secondary. Our work and words will be judged in the light of the Word written and produced fruit. Here are some issues that arise in this passage in John 12, which allow us to know what it is bearing fruit and how it can be done.
(John 12:20-26) "20 There were certain Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast. 21 And these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 22 Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. 23 Jesus answered them, saying, The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves me, follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. "
Show Jesus (John 12:21)The following passage describes the scene: Jesus appears to his disciples in the celebration of a religious holiday, which was also attended by some Greeks.Beyond that if it was Jews of Greek origin or directly Gentile Greeks who had abandoned their polytheistic and pagan worship and recognize the one God, the God of Israel, the truth is that these Greeks represent good people in general, those in the world who are in a sincere search for the Lord. Representing the nations that were promised to the Son of God before the world was (Psalm 2:1-12).
These Greeks are close with a prayer, a cry, want to "see Jesus". How appropriate that as God's people understand our rationale: our competence to bear fruit will be measured by what people see in us scope to the character of Christ! Our very nature can not bear fruit permanent spiritual. The world today, religion is skeptical yet open to the alternative: "New Age", occultism, etc., this postmodern world
not be convinced by our arguments: we, as people of God, manifest Christ and his power, Christ and his character. The world does not want to hear about the love of God, but does expect to see manifested among us and spread the world at large. (1 Corinthians 14:14) "For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful."
The Greeks of the biblical clamored to see Jesus, because they did not represent the perceived religious system, institutional religion, long "chatter" of the scribes and Pharisees, but spoke with authority, worked miracles and God appeared committed to death.
Your family (your children, your wife, your husband), your neighbors, your colleagues where you work, can see Christ in your life? (Galatians 5:22-23) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."(2 Peter 1:8) "For if these things are yours and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
We can not bear fruit until the time when the life of Christ is incarnate in us. Not bear fruit by simply talking. What we preach must be embodied in us. (Titus 3:14) "And our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful."
The Greeks of the biblical account could envision that this man was much more than words: The Word, the Word of God was made flesh (Colossians 1:4-6) "4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and love that you have for all the saints, 5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, and everyone, and takes fruit and doth also in you, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth. "(John 1:14) "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
At this point we ask: what should I do to make the life of Christ incarnate in me? The answer is simple and tremendous simultaneously. (2 John 1:8) "Take heed to yourselves, lest they lose what you have worked for, but may win a full reward."
DYING TO LIVE (John 12:24)Christ explains the nature of his mission. Announced: "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified." What I said then applies primarily to Jesus Christ (he is the Redeemer who died for us to obtain life) but, by extension applies in its other aspects to us, his followers."Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces many seeds." What is death? What does it mean for us the figure of the grain of wheat that falls to the ground and dies? Whenever my will is crossed or opposed to the revealed will of God and I choose to obey God, yet humanly I dislike, I hurt or harm me, a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies. Is death to personal interests, the prestige of this world, plans and projects themselves. It is able to confess with the Apostle Paul (Galatians 2:20) "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and I live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. "
Is training the example that Jesus gives us. If the grain does not fall on the ground, is preserved, it will always be identifiable. Will a pimple now and for a long time, only one. Seeds have been found in archaeological excavations, for example in the Egyptian pyramids. Those seeds, after thousands of years they have not lost their individuality but they have not produced anything.
Selfishness is, in the spiritual life, the major obstacle that prevents breakage of grain. No breakage, no fruit without breaking. The grain, when it falls to earth disintegrates, loses its individuality, in a sense that grain will be lost, but over the years has resulted in thousands and thousands of seeds. (Hebrews 12:11) "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby."
Christ at the Last Supper, before being delivered: (Luke 22:19) "Having taken bread, having given thanks, he broke it and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. " Remembering the Lord is not only part of the meal but also break our selfishness and give ourselves sacrificially for our brothers. From Abraham on, hear the call of God and obey it implies out not knowing where you are going, taking off and leaving aside the personal project of life, it is our decision that I die for Christ to live in us.
CONVERSION OF OUR VALUES (John 12:25)Incarnate in us the life of Christ means a conversion that is not limited to what we believe doctrinally, but that revolutionizes and transforms our particular way of life, our values. (James 3:18) "And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."
Loving life and traditions of this world and follow Christ is incompatible. What are your priorities and your goals in life? The answer to that question responds exactly to the point that if you love life or hate this world for Christ, that is, if you are dead or not, so that life Christ is incarnated in yours, if grain Wheat has fallen to the ground or stays intact and sterile. That Christ is in us and with us in this life is abundant (John 10:10) "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly" otherwise only result in empty vanity and death.
What will happen to you at the end of your life when you make the bottom line? The only thing that time will remain in the fruit that you could take on the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God.(2 John 1:9-11) "9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: Welcome! 11 For he says: Welcome! Partaker of his evil deeds. "In (John 17:1-26), when the cross was imminent, Christ the Lord, rejoicing, not miracles, not education itself (these were means, but not the end) but in the lives saved, formed and conducted: in the fruit.
The lives of those you recognize spiritual authority (your physical and spiritual children) are your treasure and your goal. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit for their development and training in Christ and build them with sound doctrine of Christ is our task: they constitute the fruit. It is a task with individual responsibilities but encompassing the entire community of faith and can only be fulfilled in the doctrine of Christ because it is the only one that produces fruit acceptable to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ our King.
WHICH WILL HONOR bear fruit the Father (John 12:26)When everything is over, if we are not in this world, when this world also has passed, what else will be valuable? The Father will honor those who have borne fruit, otherwise, prestige and human opinion, will have ceased to be. (Luke 3:9) "And now also the ax is laid to the root of the trees: therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
The world will have passed and your wishes, but you have done the will of God remains forever. In the center of God's will for our lives is that we bear fruit. May God help us to invest our lives, to "lose" in the concept of the world, so that we the grain of wheat that falls to the ground and dies, and so get bear much fruit!
What God wants us to understand is that He wants us to bear fruit. God has benefits for us. Jehovah is God who heals, who redeems the raises you, you the crown. He will satisfy us well, forget not all his benefits, on the contrary, thinks of them.
Joseph was a man of success, Joseph is one of the most largest and most admired Bible. Joseph was a big winner. The problem is that some people only see the success of Joseph and his afflictions. Joseph had a dream, and that dream had to be fulfilled. If dreams God has given you to understand that you will be treated in order to have the character that you need God in order to fulfill that dream.
Every dream needs a person and every person to fulfill a dream takes character and God will work in your life to make you fruitful, and that the dream is not lost. God wants you to fulfill your dreams but also want to train you and God had to train for the dream that Joseph gave. The problem is that dreams usually come before the character and nature need to be trained. God wants us to bear fruit. There is a land in which we are afflicted and affliction are personal and not transferable, Joseph said, "God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction."We all afflictions, in different ways and forms but all have troubles, do not think you're the only one afflicted. If you know take that grief will produce fruit in you. You must learn to manage your own grief, to think that only you have afflictions is incorrect, we all have a land where we are afflicted, Joseph recognized him and said that's why his second son Ephraim call it because I wanted to remember that despite having spent for the land of their afflictions in the midst of all God did prosper and flourish. Joseph was willing to remember the fruit and afflictions. Afflictions forget them and only see the fruit that brought this affliction.
(Matthew 13:20-21) "20And he that was sown on rocky ground, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21But has no root in himself, but is short-lived, for the coming tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. "
Grief does not have to look, always comes alone. Joseph did not seek trouble or seek afflictions, all he did was have a God-given dream and afflictions have dreamed you came for. Joseph had a dream, he wanted to do and told the dream to his brothers, we all know what the brothers did to him, Joseph never was put in jail for stealing, went to jail for refusing to fornicate, many of us do the right thing and yet we are the afflictions, can be the most holy and right in the world to have troubles anyway, but if the afflictions are doing the right thing amid all bend your knees, lift your hands, worships God .
Give the fruit that you give, the only reason that Joseph suffered was for having dreamed. Gold in stone, rustic, raw is useless, gold is serving which is purified, for gold is useful to accept it and mess in the oven and the oven several times until it comes ready to be a jewel, grief prepares us to be one of the most precious jewels that God can use.God wants to use you as a work of your hand so that you will go through the tribulation, the work Joseph did in Egypt was a wonderful work, God used one of his people to fight hunger from the Egyptians and then the hunger Lord's people, you can be used to bless even those who do not know the Lord, Joseph was a blessing for Egypt, for Israel and for us.
If you want to be a blessing to someone you have to learn to handle and manage the afflictions. It's hard to take courage when one is afflicted. We have to be like Joseph did everything with him but never lost heart and fruition. We see in Matthew 13 in the parable of the sower that some were not successful with grief, and that grief is competing with the fruit.Genesis 39:2 "The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man, and was in the house of his Egyptian master."
There is the perfect environment to thrive, there are people who want to change jobs because there is a good atmosphere, if not bear your work environment, you change it. Joseph prospered in an environment of slavery, a slave prospered, he was not looking where he was, he looked at who was with him there, he did not say "I am a slave to Potiphar," he said "I am the son of the most high God, blessed for him, all I do is successful, I touch goes well, no matter where I put God goes with me wherever I go. "Joseph prospered in his master's house, you do not need to be an entrepreneur to thrive. Genesis 39:3 "And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and everything he did, the LORD made it to prosper in his hand." Joseph was thriving amid the circumstances, you have to understand that you will not succeed because you circumstances complain God blesses you no pity.
But I have good news, no matter the circumstances, if you believe God is with you wherever you are, from thence will the Lord arise. When Joseph puts his son's name, there declared that God had made him fruitful in the time of trouble, that tells me what he had in mind was not the affliction Joseph was living, which had in his mind was bearing fruit for God.If Joseph had not borne fruit God had never ruled Egypt, Joseph was well afflicted but blessed, in other words, Joseph was in trouble but joyful.
Do not you see how ugly it can be a time you have to see is that God is there to make you succeed. Do not see the difficulty but how God will take it, do not talk to God about your problems, talk to your God big problems you have.
(Romans 8:16-19) "16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. 17And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. 18For I have to consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. "
You must understand that afflictions are temporary, end all, grief goes, it goes when you take refuge in the strong tower of Jehovah God, and the word of God is clear and we must understand that the sufferings are temporary and the strongest of them can not be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. It will manifest in us afflictions but never as intense as the glory that God will manifest in us. Joseph lived afflictions were not as intense as the glory which lived administering all Egypt and hardship we go through to do good are nothing compared with the reward that God gives you for doing so.
Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all." It does not say that's just not going to have troubles, says that we will have "many" but also said that of all the Lord deliver us , while in the affliction lay your eyes on glory that God will give. (John 16:33) "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world. "
The Lord Jesus said we would be exempt from having affliction, He said all he would rescue us. The afflictions have said, I ask only one thing "trust me".The Lord asks us to trust Him in the midst of affliction because sometimes they are so big and are so straight that we are tempted to distrust God, Jesus gently said: "I'm going to fight of afflictions, just be patient" .
You may be suffering for two reasons, to do evil or to do good. For example, you want to drink alcohol, you get high, you want to smoke, then you can decide not to suffer the affliction to exercise self-control, or you choose to drink, do drugs or smoke, in this case suffer the affliction of dying, to harm the people around you or cancer.
You suffer affliction that the boyfriend cut because you do not sleep with him or suffer the affliction of being a single mother because that is asking you to sleep with him early will surely leave you, the one who loves you is waiting.
You suffer affliction to abstain from doing bad things, or the distress of doing good, you can refrain from the affliction of not wanting to be a committed Christian because you do not want to say that you are a fan or suffer the affliction in the day of judgment when He will say, "Because you were not neither hot nor cold but lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth." If you suffer or you will be afflicted by it do good and submit to the will of God. The central purpose of our life is to bear fruit for the glory of God, and that everything else is secondary.
