VALUE FOR YOUTH SELF CONTROL

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith (faithfulness), meekness, temperance (self-control)." Galatians 5:22, 23Temperance is just a form of self-control.
HUMAN CONCEPT OF SIN• It is "human" sin man sins because he is man! Have to sin.• misconception is based on the false doctrine of "original sin".• We have free will. We choose, we choose to sin or not to sin. It is our decision. We do not have to sin ... ever.
THE BIBLE SAYS: "not sin"• 1 John 2:1, "My little children, these things write I unto you that ye sin not."• Psalm 119:11, "In my heart I have hidden your word might not sin against thee."• Rom. 3:23, "all have sinned" - chose to sin ... but no one has to sin!
Controlled by God• Genesis 1:26, "Let us make man in our image."• God has given man great powers• But they are very likely to be abused.• Domain "own" means that human powers are controlled by God.
ADD THE SELF• 2 Pet. 1:5, "beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge temperance, self-control, perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness, love. " Follow the "knowledge" and practice what we know.
FOLLOW "JUSTICE"• Acts 24:25, "he reasoned about righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled ..."• Here the self is to "justice", which represents God's claims, self-control being man's response to it.

"DOMAIN on indifference• Heb. 10:25, "not neglecting to meet together."• Three times a week is very little.• Be on time, to salute, not to interfere, not to miss the prayer, hymns• Self-control on sleep, rest, the infinite pains and chores ... on excuses, excuses
SELF ON LANGUAGE• Efes. 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for necessary edification."• Society is accepting profanity, heavy words - "hell," "damn" but certainly not right with God.• Mat. 12:34, "the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."

WHERE DOES THE TEMPTATION?• James 1:14, "Each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire (lust) is lured and enticed."• Do not settle, do not follow fashion clothing guys with earrings dishonest "bad company corrupts", 1 Cor. 15:33"Hate what is evil," Rom. 12:9• Hebrews 1:8, "the Son he saith ... 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity" What Jesus wanted to commit sin?
