HEALTH OF THE DOCTRINE OF JESUS STUDY # 4

HEALTH OF THE DOCTRINE OF JESUS STUDY # 4
WHY NOT SUPPORT THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST?(2 Timothy 4:3) "For the time will come when they will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers after their own lusts"
I. BECAUSE - now Paul DA REASON OF CUSTOM SOLEMN.
A. Time will come when they will not endure (bear, NKJV) sound doctrine

1. 1Tim. 1:3, "As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine."
2. 1Tim. 1:10, "and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which I have been entrusted"
3. 1Tim. 4:1, "But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons."
4. 1Tim. 4:6, "If thou put the brethren, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine which you have followed."
5. 1Tim. 4:16, "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine, continue in them: for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
6. 1Tim. 6:3, "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing."
7. Titus 2:1, "You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine."
8. Titus 2:10, "not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity, that in all things may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior."

B. So Timothy should preach, reprove, rebuke, and exhort, redeeming the time, because they would come "perilous times", 2 Tim. 3:1-5.
C. Paul spoke clearly of a coming apostasy in 2 Thess. 2.
D. What Paul requires in v. 2 is the way to avoid apostasy.
II. But, having itching ears;
A. The word "itch" is "scratch, tickle". They have itching ears "different doctrine" (1 Tim. 1:3).
B. Many want to give them peace education and peace of mind, but at the same time allowing to follow the desires of this world. They want education that causes pleasure to your ears. Teaching want nice, flattering, easy to talk of duties, and tolerates their sins. Do not want to be reprimanded but flattered and flattered. Do not want to hear of the cross to be carried, or self-denial. Do not want to put off the old man and put on the new man.
C. Christ describes the defective good ear of some in the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23). So He says, Mar. 4:24, "Take heed what you hear" and Luc. 8:18, "Take heed how you hear." Heb. 5:11, "About this we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing."
III. Will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordanceTo their own desires
A. There will always be teachers who are willing to scratch or tickle the ears of the people, that is, teach what people want to hear. 1Tesalonisanses 2:3-6, "For our appeal does not spring from error or uncleanness, nor in guile, 4 But as we were allowed of God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men but God, who tests our hearts. 5 For never used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness, God is witness: 6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor of others. "

B. As the prophet Hosea 4:9, "And as the people were, so shall the priest" (NASB), ie, the rebellious people just want to listen to teachers who are like them. 1 Kings 12:31, Jeroboam "And he made houses on high places, and made priests from among the people, who were not of the sons of Levi". Isa. 30:10, "you say to the seers, See not; and the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right! Tell us smooth things, prophesy lies."

C. Compare Acts. 17:19-21, "And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new teaching is which you speak? 20 For thou bringest strange things to our ears. We want to know therefore what these things mean. 21 (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell or to hear some new thing.) "They wanted to hear something new, something interesting and fascinating, something that pleased them, but they would not hear of repentance (ver. 30, 31). Do not want to be offended by the preaching of the resurrection and final judgment.

B. Teachers must lead and change the people, but in many cases the people changed their teachers. Eg., Exodus 32:1-4, "When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, they gathered together to Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods who will go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons and your daughters, and bring them to me. 3 So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron, 4, and he took them from their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf. "

1. So Herod was not convenient hear John (Matt. 14:3-4), "For Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison, because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; 4 For John said: It is not lawful to have it. " Juan did not tolerate the lusts of Herod, but that denounced.
2. The Jews did not suit them the preaching of Stephen and, therefore, he was stoned (Acts 7:58).
"His dream is to have teachers who fit their own ideas or perverted tastes ... So great is this longing that piled on master teacher. This makes you remember Jer. 5:31: "The prophets prophesy falsely ... and my people have it so 'and Ez. 33:32, 'And lo, thou art unto them as a singer of love, beautiful voice and can play well and they hear thy words, but do them'. The people here described is more interested in something different, something sensational in the naked truth. And when presented with the truth (as he certainly did Ezekiel), are not interested in the truth itself, but in the way it is presented, the 'style', the oratory of the preacher ... the preacher himself, his voice, his demeanor, his appearance, his manners. Here in 2 Tim. 4:3, 4 the emphasis is on the longing to hear fascinating stories and philosophical speculations "(GH).
IV. And away from the truth EAR
A. Do not want to hear the simple gospel that speaks of forgiveness of sins, for they will not repent. Truth takes away all their idols and vices loved. Do not want to crucify the flesh with its desires.
B. Do not want to hear of baptism, or other commandments of the Lord, because they have their own concepts of what life is "Christian". Do not want to hear of the crucifixion of the old man and sanctification in Christ.
C. Do not want to hear the spiritual kingdom of Christ which is the church, his body, his temple, etc.. Do not want to hear how simple his government, nor the spiritual work of the church. Do not want to hear about the simple spiritual worship and revealed by the Holy Spirit, because they want a religion that pleases men (rites, gold, diamonds, miracles out what the word says, ceremonies, incense, noise, super brothers ungidisimos that touching someone falls say that by the power of the Holy Spirit, etc..). Anyway, do not want to know the true nature of the church that Christ established in sound doctrine of Jesus, so that we are all healthy, transformed and redeemed by the word of faith.
V. And shall be turned unto fables

A. Jer. 2:13, "For two evils my people have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water." Prefer their own expressions of human wisdom that is completely devoid of the light of God's revelation.
B. It was said in the rabbinical schools that had an oral law given at Mount Sinai, and that this law had been given by a number of teachers through the centuries. During the time of Christ's ministry on earth these sayings and comments were a supplement to the written law. However, in the second century began writing this collection of traditions, now called the Talmud. Jesus strongly denounced such traditions (eg., Mat. 15:3).
C. The most popular fables are now Catholic. There are many tales about Mary and the "saints". There are multitudes who will hear all the fables of the alleged miracles performed in connection with the tombs or relics of the "saints" and "martyrs". All they talk about their charismatic "healings" which are pure fables.
D. The Book of Mormon is a book that professes to be inspired, but contains pure fables, but millions of people believe them. The young "elders" (seniors) leave home for two years to travel to distant lands to spread these fables.
E. Those that are won by the fables are those who do not know the Bible and reject.
